Affiliate Disclosure

Three programs are live: Wispr Flow and Clipto, both from 17 September 2026, and a Nous Portal referral for Hermes Agent from the same date. The first two earn us a share of a subscription at no extra cost to you. The third is different and we want it read differently: it takes $15 off your first month and pays us $10 in API credit, and it is for the software we run this site on. Every other outbound link here is a plain link that earns us nothing. The list below is exact, and if it is ever out of date, the page is wrong and we want to hear about it.

What Is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is a model where we earn a commission when we refer a customer to a product or service. When you click an affiliate link on our site and sign up for a tool, the tool provider pays us a percentage of your subscription fee — typically 20-45% recurring. You pay the same price whether or not you use our link.

Which Links Are Affiliate Links?

Only links to Wispr Flow, Clipto and Hermes Agent. Specifically:

  • The “Visit” buttons on the Wispr Flow, Clipto and Hermes Agent review pages, currently the only monetised links on the site
  • Any future link to one of those three in a comparison table or article, which will carry the same markup

Those links pass through /go/wispr-flow/, /go/clipto/ and /go/hermes-agent/, which shows an affiliate notice before forwarding, and they carry rel="sponsored" in the markup.

Not affiliate links: the outbound links for the other 57 apps, and also

  • Internal links to other AppCyder pages (reviews, blog, compare)
  • Links to sources and references in our articles
  • Social media links

How Our Affiliate Relationships Work

Every outbound link on this site goes through a redirect at /go/<app>/. For Wispr Flow, Clipto and Hermes Agent those redirects carry our referral code. For the other 57 apps it forwards to the vendor's plain website with no tracking parameters attached. One file decides which is which, so this page and the actual links cannot drift apart.

Our application to the Impact network was declined in September 2026 with no reason given, so we are going to vendors directly instead. Wispr Flow approved us on 17 September 2026 at 25% per sale for 12 months, through Dub, and Clipto's self-serve program on Rewardful pays a recurring share of the subscription. The Hermes Agent link is a Nous Portal referral rather than a commission: you get $15 off your first month, $20 down to $5, and we get $10 in API credit if you subscribe. One referral per payment card, and if the card has already been used for another the discount is reversed and nothing is paid. Those are the only three arrangements running. Any future one gets named here with its start date before a single link changes.

We are not in Amazon Associates and do not intend to join. Amazon does not sell the software we review.

Editorial Independence

Commission will not influence our reviews, ratings, or recommendations. Scores come from public review data, published reporting, court and regulatory filings, and prices we check against the vendor's own page. The average score on this site is 2.7 out of 5, fifteen apps score below 2.5, and several reviews tell you plainly not to hand the vendor a card. That is what an unbought scale looks like, and it was set before any program existed to influence it.

Two rules we hold ourselves to. A commission rate will never move a score, and where we have a conflict we state it on the page rather than in the footer. Hermes Agent is the hardest case on this site and the disclosure at the top of that review says so in full: we run AppCyder on it every day, and we now earn $10 in credit when someone subscribes through our link. Its 4.0, and the five cons listed under it, were written and published before that referral existed and were not touched when it was added. If you think that score reads generously, the disclosure is there precisely so you can discount it yourself.

Wispr Flow and Clipto are the test of that. Clipto's review, published the day we joined its program, says the billing is the weak point, counts the 219 one-star reviews behind its 4.6 average, and tells readers not to pay for a year up front. Clipto's own terms of service prohibit disparaging the company; we published it anyway. Wispr Flow's review still says that long-time users report output quality varying over time and that the free tier's allowance is capped in a way the marketing does not make obvious. Those lines were there before the program was approved and they stay there. If a vendor ever asks us to remove accurate criticism as a condition of partnership, we will decline and say so on the review page.
