Anyword
AI copywriting with predictive performance scoring
Anyword stands out from other AI writing tools with its unique predictive performance scoring — it analyzes your copy and predicts how well it will perform with your audience before you publish. This makes it particularly valuable for ad agencies and performance marketers who need to optimize copy for conversion. The Data-Driven plan at $99/month includes brand voice training, audience targeting, and A/B testing. While the pricing is steep for individuals (starting at $49/month), for agencies and marketing teams that live and die by copy performance, Anyword's predictive scoring is a genuine differentiator that pays for itself.

What it actually does
Anyword is an AI copywriter with a scoring layer bolted on. You generate ad copy, headlines, social posts or product descriptions, and each variant comes back with a predicted performance score against the audience you defined. The idea is to pick the winner before you spend media money on finding out.
Around that sits the usual kit: brand voice training, A/B-style variant generation, and templates for ads and social. The scoring is the reason anyone chooses it over a generic writing tool, so the whole purchase rests on whether the score is trustworthy and whether it shows up where you work.
What it costs
Free gets you 1,000 words a month with basic features, which is enough to see the interface and not much else. Starter is $49 a month and Data-Driven is $99 a month, with the audience targeting and heavier scoring features sitting on the upper plan.
The catch is credits, not dollars. Reviewers consistently say the monthly cost buys a small number of credits, and one verified Capterra reviewer in March 2023 put it plainly: the cost is still very expensive and only provides a few credits per month. If your team produces content at volume rather than writing a dozen ad variants a week, run the credit math before you commit, because the plan price is the smaller part of the bill.
Where it falls down
The differentiator is patchy. A verified Capterra reviewer in December 2022 noted that the app does not score every copy type it offers, listing General Writing, copy frameworks, ideation, article and blog, and some product listings. If you bought Anyword for the score and then discover it is absent on the formats you use most, you are paying a premium for a dashboard.
Keyword handling is the second real problem. Users report the generator forces supplied keywords into copy whether or not they fit the sentence, which means editing out the damage rather than shipping the draft. There was also no direct WordPress or CMS publishing in the workflow reviewers describe, so copy gets pasted out by hand.
Now the part that decides the score. Anyword's public ratings are excellent, 4.8 out of 5 on G2 across 1,227 reviews and 4.8 on Capterra across 391, with ease of use at 4.8 and customer service at 4.7. We read both pages directly in September 2026. But 88 percent of the G2 reviews are five stars, the most-helpful Capterra reviews cluster in 2022 and 2023, and several carry incentivized or vendor-sourced flags. That is a thin, aging, partly solicited evidence base for a product that has had three years to change. We are treating the 4.8 as soft evidence rather than proof, and that is why a tool with near-perfect public scores lands at 3.0 here.
We found no acquisition, lawsuit, rebrand or regulatory action in the time we had. That is absence of evidence, not evidence of absence.
Who should buy it
Performance marketers, PPC specialists and ad agencies whose entire job is ranking copy variants before spend. Reviewers also report it beats Jasper on long-form coherence and outline control, and the tone and style controls get praised regularly, so it is not a one-trick product. If predictive scoring on ad copy is the specific thing you want, this is the tool built around it.
Do not buy it as an individual writer or a blogger. At $49 a month with tight credits, and with scoring missing on article and blog output, you are buying the expensive part and not getting it. A general assistant at $20 a month writes comparable drafts, and you will spend the difference on nothing.
Also hold off if you need content published straight into a CMS, or if you are a small team hoping the score replaces testing. It predicts. Your ad account decides.
Our verdict
3.0DrinkableThe performance-prediction scoring is a real idea and the review scores are excellent, though thin and mostly from 2022-23. The monthly price against the credits you get is the complaint that keeps surfacing. Worth a look if predictive scoring is the specific thing you want; otherwise you are paying a premium for a dashboard.
